കല്‍പ്പറ്റ: ഒ.ആര്‍ കേളു എംഎല്‍എ മന്ത്രിയാകുന്നത് വയനാടിനും പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പട്ടികവര്‍ഗ, പട്ടികജാതി വിഭാഗങ്ങള്‍ക്കും വലിയ നേട്ടമാകുമെന്ന് സിപിഐ എം ജില്ലാ സെക്രട്ടറിയേറ്റ് പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. വന്യമൃഗശല്യം ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ ജില്ല നേരിടുന്ന സങ്കീര്‍ണമായ പ്രശ്നങ്ങള് പരിഹരിക്കാന്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ഫലപ്രദമായി ഇടപെടുവാന്‍ മന്ത്രി എന്ന നിലയില്‍ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് സാധിക്കും. വയനാടിനോടുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരിന്റെ പരിഗണനകൂടിയാണ് ഒ.ആര്‍ കേളുവിന്റെ മന്ത്രി പദവി. ആദിവാസി വിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെയും കര്‍ഷകരുടെയും തൊഴിലാളികളുടെയും പ്രശ്നങ്ങള് നേരിട്ടനുഭവിക്കുന്നത് മന്ത്രിയെന്ന നിലയിലുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനത്തിന് മുതല്‍കൂട്ടാവും. ജില്ലയുടെ ജനകീയ വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യുന്നതിലും എല്‍ഡിഎഫ് നയങ്ങള്‍ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നതിലും മികച്ച ഇടപെടലുകളാണ് ഒ.ആര്‍ കേളു ഇതുവരെ നടത്തിയത്. അതിനുള്ള അംഗീകാരം കൂടിയാണ് മന്ത്രി പദവിയെന്നും സിപിഐ(എം).
ആദിവാസി, കാര്‍ഷിക പ്രശ്നങ്ങള്, വന്യമൃഗശല്യം, മെഡിക്കല്‍ കോളേജ് വിഷയങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയവ പരിഹരിക്കുന്നതിനും തൊഴില്‍-വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ മേഖലയുടെ മുന്നേറ്റത്തിനും നിരന്തരം ഇടപെടലുകള്‍ നടത്തി. ഇത്തരം കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ ഇടപെടാനും പരിഹരിക്കാനും മന്ത്രി പദവി ഉപകരിക്കും. ജില്ലയുടെ പൊതുവികസനം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്താനുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ കാര്യക്ഷമമായി മുന്നോട്ട് കൊണ്ടുപോകാന്‍ ഒ.ആര്‍ കേളുവിന് കഴിയുമെന്നും സെക്രട്ടറിയറ്റ് പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
