വള്ളിയൂര്‍ക്കാവ് ആറാട്ടുത്സവം: 'ഒപ്പന വരവ്' ഇന്ന് നടക്കും
മാനന്തവാടി: വള്ളിയൂര്‍ക്കാവ് ആറാട്ടുത്സവത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന ചടങ്ങുകളിലൊന്നായ 'ഒപ്പന വരവ്' ഇന്ന് നടക്കും. ഇന്നലെ വൈകീട്ട് ക്ഷേത്രം മേല്‍ശാന്തി കുഞ്ഞിക്കല്ല് വരശ്ശാല ശ്രീജേഷ് നമ്പൂതിരി എടവക ചേരാങ്കോട്ട് ഇല്ലത്തേക്ക് ഒപ്പനക്കോപ്പിനു പുറപ്പെട്ടു. ഇന്ന് വൈകീട്ടോടെ താഴെക്കാവിലെ പാട്ടുപുരയില്‍ ഒപ്പനക്കോപ്പെത്തിക്കും. തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഉത്സവം കഴിയുന്നത് വരെ പുലര്‍ച്ചെ താഴെക്കാവിലെ പാട്ടുപുരയില്‍ ഒപ്പന ദര്‍ശിക്കാം. ഒപ്പന ദര്‍ശനത്തിലൂടെ ദേവിയെ നേരില്‍കാണുന്നുവെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം. ഒപ്പനയെത്തിച്ചതിനു ശേഷം എല്ലാദിവസവും രാത്രി മേലേക്കാവില്‍ നിന്ന് താഴേക്കാവിലേക്ക് എഴുന്നള്ളത്തുണ്ടാകും.
ആറാട്ടുത്സവം സമാപിക്കുന്നതു വരെ താഴെക്കാവിലെ പാട്ടുപുരയില്‍ കളമെഴുത്തും പാട്ടും നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. ചെറുകര സുന്ദരക്കുറുപ്പിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് കളമെഴുത്തും പാട്ടും. എല്ലാ ദിവസങ്ങളിലും വൈകീട്ട് എഴുതുന്ന കളം രാത്രി മായ്ച്ചു കളയുന്നതാണ് രീതി.
28നു രാത്രി വിവിധ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നുള്ള അടിയറകള്‍ വള്ളിയൂര്‍ക്കാവിലേക്ക് സംഗമിക്കുന്നതോടെ ആറാട്ടുതറയിലേക്ക് എഴുന്നള്ളും. 29നു പുലര്‍ച്ചേ താഴെക്കാവിലെ കോലംകൊറ (രുധിരക്കോലം)യോടെ ആറാട്ടുത്സവം സമാപിക്കും. പ്രതീകാത്മകമായി കാളി ദാരികനെ വധിക്കുന്ന ചടങ്ങാണിത്.
കോലം കൊറയ്ക്കു ശേഷം ഉത്സവത്തിനു മുന്നോടിയായി എത്തിച്ച വാള്‍ പള്ളിയറ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്കും അവിടെനിന്നു എടവക അഗ്രഹാരത്തെ പി. ജിനരാജന്‍ തരകന്റെ വീട്ടിലേക്കും എഴുന്നള്ളിക്കും. തിരിച്ചെഴുന്നള്ളിച്ചാല്‍ അടുത്ത ആറാട്ടുത്സവം വരെ ജിനരാജന്‍ തരകന്റെ വീട്ടിലെ പൂജാമുറിയിലാണ് വാള്‍ സൂക്ഷിക്കുക. താഴെക്കാവിലെ മണിപ്പുറ്റിലാണ് വാള്‍ ഇപ്പോള്‍ സൂക്ഷിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്
