മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് സംവിധാനംവെച്ച് റോഡ് അടച്ച ശേഷമാണ് പോലീസ് പോയത്. ഒരപ്പ്- കല്ലോടി റോഡിലെ കലുങ്കില്‍ വെള്ളം ഉയര്‍ന്നതാണു അപകടത്തിനു കാരണമായത്. ശക്തമായ ഒഴുക്കുമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. കാര്‍ തെന്നിമാറി റോഡരികിലേക്ക് മാറിയതും പുഴയിലേക്ക് പതിക്കാതിരുന്നതും വലിയ അപകടം ഒഴിവാക്കി.
