പിലാക്കാവ്: പിലാക്കാവ് പഞ്ചാരക്കൊല്ലി പ്രദേശത്ത് വീണ്ടും കടുവയുടെ കാല്‍പാടുകള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തി. തറാട്ട് ഉന്നതിയിലെ രാമന്റെ വാഴത്തോട്ടത്തിലാണ് ഇന്ന് രാവിലെ കടുവയുടെ കാല്‍പ്പാടുകള്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. വനംവകുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയില്‍ കടുവയുടെ കാല്‍പാടുകളാണെന്ന് സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. വനത്തിനോട് ചേര്‍ന്ന ഈ പ്രദേശത്ത് കടുവയുടെ സാന്നിധ്യം മുന്‍പേയുള്ളതാണെന്നും, വൈകുന്നേരത്തോടെ ക്യാമറ ട്രാപ്പുകള്‍ സ്ഥാപിച്ച് തുടര്‍നടപടികള്‍ സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്നും വനപാലകര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. രണ്ട് കുന്നുകള്‍ക്കിടയിലായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന വയല്‍ഭാഗത്താണ് കാല്‍പാടുകള്‍ കണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഒരു കുന്നില്‍ നിന്നും സമീപത്തെ കുന്നിലേക്ക് കടുവ പോയതായാണ് നിഗമനം. ഇത്തരത്തില്‍ മുന്‍പും കടുവയുടെ സഞ്ചാരപാതയായിട്ടുള്ള മേഖലയാണിതെന്നും വനം വകുപ്പ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
പ്രദേശത്തെ ഉന്നതിയംഗം രാധയെ രണ്ട് മാസം മുമ്പ് കടുവ കൊന്നതോടെ നാട്ടുകാര്‍ പരക്കെ ആശങ്കയിലായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ പ്രസ്തുത കടുവയെ ചത്ത നിലയില്‍ കണ്ടെത്തിയതോടെ ആശങ്കയ്ക്ക് ഒരു പരിധിവരെ പരിഹാരമായിരുന്നു. പ്രസ്തുത കടുവയെ ആക്രമിച്ചതായി കരുതുന്ന കടുവ സമീപ വനത്തിലുള്ളതായും ആ കടുവയുടേതാകാം കാല്‍പ്പാടുകളെന്നും വനം വകുപ്പ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
